Big savings for homebuyers and tenants: How GLLIT is revolutionising property transactions in Dubai

Say goodbye to hefty property commission fees and hello to direct, transparent interactions between buyers and sellers.

A new player is set to disrupt the traditional real estate landscape, aiming to make Dubai’s property market even more accessible, user-friendly and streamlined for the modern user.

GLLIT, an innovative platform that is empowering homebuyers and tenants by challenging the age-old commission-based model, has envisioned a marketplace that fosters direct interaction between buyers and sellers, thereby eliminating the need for commission fees.

This innovative approach, similar to how platforms like Airbnb have hugely transformed how the hospitality industry operates, promises a seismic shift in how real estate transactions are conducted.

It all started with a simple yet profound question, “How can we give people the choice of no-commission transactions?”

Getting insights on consumer needs and preferences as well as market trends was key to creating a solution that addresses all the key concerns of both tenants and homebuyers. GLLIT therefore started with a comprehensive research and analysis of the market, to understand how prevailing consumer behaviors could inform the way we would develop our services.

“The goal was simple: allow both buyers and sellers or tenants and landlords to directly interact and to remove commission fees from the equation, which we believe has been a limiting factor in creating a new model for real estate transactions,” said Arijit Sen, one of the company’s founders.

At its core, GLLIT is built to provide an alternative way of completing real estate transactions — whether it’s buying, selling, and renting property — and making it accessible to more people.

The commission-free model therefore serves as a foundational element of the platform’s services, complemented by various free tools and services that cater to all aspects of buying, selling or renting a property. The site has also introduced a Virtual Helpdesk to provide assistance on paperwork, documentation and other aspects of a real estate transaction. There are also in-house experts to provide professional advice on property financing, legal and other real estate matters.

Making transactions easy

On the GLLIT platform, landlords can now easily list their properties through a user-friendly interface from where they add or edit descriptions about their properties or upload and edit high-resolution images. For tenants and homebuyers, the platform uses advanced algorithms to find properties that match their preferences.

GLLIT’s biggest advantage, though, is its commission-free model that eliminates additional costs associated with agent and listing fees, resulting in big savings for all users. By directly connecting buyers and sellers or landlords and tenants, the platform gives an alternative way of completing transactions that is more efficient, transparent, and direct.

“There was a clear gap in the industry and we believe it is high time to give consumers an alternative way of completing real estate transaction in Dubai. That’s what drove us to create GLLIT,” said Sen.

“Our goal has always been to remove the obstacles to genuine communication and engagement between both parties involved in a real estate transaction. We are proud to bring this vision to life and to contribute to the ongoing transformation of Dubai’s real estate market.”
